As a wedding photographer, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Lisa and Derek’s wedding at McBrayer Ranch in Powder Springs, GA. Their cowboy-inspired celebration was full of personality and heartfelt moments. Lisa looked amazing in a denim jacket and a white cowboy hat, while Derek kept it casual with a rustic jacket and cowboy boots. It was clear from the start that this day would be full of personal touches and family love—Lisa’s two daughters were her bridesmaids, and Derek’s son had the honor of officiating their ceremony.

One of the most memorable moments of the day was Lisa’s first look with her brother. It was so emotional to witness—he whispered, “I wish Dad could see this,” as he saw his sister in her wedding dress for the first time. Later, he walked her down the aisle and gave her away, making that moment even more special. The ceremony itself, held outdoors at McBrayer Ranch, was intimate and beautiful, with the stunning landscape creating a perfect backdrop.

The rustic charm of McBrayer Ranch added the right touch of warmth and personality to the day. The barn, with its unique decor, didn’t require any extra decoration, and I was able to capture some stunning ring shots on the white table inside. After the ceremony, the couple and their guests danced the night away on a unique dance floor in a cozy range, making the evening unforgettable.
